Older Adult Programs Offered by the Alliance & the Recreation Department

Mondays  - 10-11am…Sit & be Fit exercise class.  Participants are asked to bring their own weights. (free)

Mondays – 7pm ...Exercise class (free) in the senior room

Tuesdays - 9am ... Exercise with Miss Gerry $2 pay as you go (mid-April to Dec)

Tuesdays - 9:00am ... Walking club - meet at Rail Trail parking lot on Country Lane weather permitting (April – Oct)

Tuesdays - 1-4pm ... Mah Jong  at the Engel Sprague Senior Center – New players welcome.  Bring a drink.  This program is FREE

Two tennis courts are located at the Waretown Lake & Recreation Area.
*Players must sign out for a gate key at the Ocean Township Police Department.
Tennis Court also located at the Sands Point Park on Dock Ave.  Open Daily – Weather Permitting.

Waretown Recreation Park & Lake

Badges are required for the use of the Waretown Recreation Area and Lake on Route 532. Cost of badges are $5.00 per person for the season. Children 5 and under are free. Proof of residence is required to purchase badges. Badges are also honored at the public dock on Bryant Road for fishing and crabbing. Daily passes are for non-residents also, only for use at the public dock. Badges are on sale starting in June at the Township Clerk's Office. Lake is open daily after the school closes for summer recess and closes on Labor Day.

Opens for season June 16th
Badges will be required for anyone age 5 or older thru Labor Day.
Badges can be purchased directly from the lifeguards.
